Your Next 24 Hours – #339
When you woke up this morning, you were given another precious chance to be the person you can be. How lucky can you get!
The next 24 hours are YOURS to do with as you wish. Think about what a fantastic opportunity that is. You can make people happy during those hours. You can do something that will make the world a better place.
You could find a cure . . . write a song . . . give a speech . . . or kiss a cheek and remind someone how much you love them.
You could take a stand, in a world where far too few people speak out for what’s right and honorable, with no thought of personal glory or benefit.
You could plant a tree that grows to be 50 feet tall or give a hand to someone who would otherwise have a bad day. You could give a life lesson to a child; some snippet of wisdom or a story that sticks. Something that he can turn to, when it’s time to make a hard decision. Something that will guide her through anguish to the other side.
What an awesome gift this is. It’s once in a lifetime. The next 24 hours will never come again. This is your one and only chance to make them count.
The day is yours. You can make it shimmer. You can make this day really special for one person, or more. Today, make something good happen.
P.S.
Another possibility today – You could learn something new. It could happen, or you could make it occur. New knowledge or awareness may just fall into your lap in the course of the day. If it does not, Google something. A word, a place, a name. Delightful what information enters your brain by random curiosity. Then you get to share it with others. Grandma used to say – learn something new every day, and you’ll never get old. I am depending on her word!

when Andrew was on the earth for only 24 hours he gave me the gift of sight. i came to see every 24 hours as an opportunity to change/improve/evolve my life or make someone else’s better. i haven’t showed down since.
one sweet little red-headed dude — mr. andrew jacob miller — did/gave all that… just for me. here’s to 24 hours to “empower.” good message, Annette. we share the same POV.
